With no superpowers or a direct line with God, I can still brag that -in the past months- my connection with the Holy Spirit has strengthened to the point where He guides even in the most trivial situations.

Every time I am in a rush, and cannot find something (a common occurrence) whether it is my car keys, my blazer, my work badge or my phone, instead of desperately turning the

house around, or shall I say, while I am doing it, this instantaneous “Help!” mental message sends itself to the Holy Spirit and surprisingly, I get a prompt reply -either in the form of a fraction of a second mental snapshot of the place where they are- or through unconscious steps that I find myself taking towards the closet, kitchen or the laundry room, where I find what I was looking for. I know that I should not need “signs” to remind me of His love, but many times I let uncertainty prompt anxiety and racing thoughts on me. I am no Saint or theology expert; I can be lazy, avoid feelings and miss church, among many other things that I know make God unhappy. But ever since He humbled me to the point of knowing that I cannot do ANYTHING without his help, I have learned to depend on Him (or shall I say, bug him every second), even to find insignificant things like headphones. But unlike Alexa, Jesus never answers “Sorry, Martha…I didn’t get that!”

CAUGHT YOU!

You are not here by accident!

My words floated and landed near your sight.

Ma-bubble is an escape from the world and it  comprises the pop-up thoughts that burst out of my brain. They are the stories of an imperfect being who has learned a lot, the hard way.

If what I share is useful or amusing for you, I would have served the purpose that God vested in me.

Caveat: I encourage you not to pop Ma-bubble with negativity or you might end up back out in the boring world of "normality".
