Whimsy Day

I woke up this morning, my hair in a frizz,
Stumbled to the kitchen, no orange to squeeze!
Poured black coffee beans in my cereal bowl,
Realized my mistake, when I had eaten it all!
My cat looked at me with a curious stare,
As I tripped on a shoe and flew through the air.
Landed on the couch with a dramatic flair,
My day had begun with a touch of despair.
Off to work I go, dashing with glee,
But forgot my keys, oh silly old me!
Knocked on the door, my neighbor did see,
I’m locked out again and really need to pee!
At lunch, I spilled the guacamole on my shirt,
A green fashion statement, but not so alert.
As my colleagues giggled, I gave up a smirk,
Just another day of my quirky quirk.
The evening came, I slipped in the rain,
Crying out loud, my kneecaps in pain.
A day of mishaps, but that's okay,
For in the end, it was a whimsical day!
