My mind tries to wander to tomorrow,

Head First

But I only know what I feel today,

Yesterday was full of pain and sorrow,

I cannot afford the same mistake.

Trying to hide fear in a compartment,

Where it cannot reach my feeble heart,

Struggling to boost up my advancement,

Praying to God to keep me smart.

Yes, I want to feel and just be fearless,

Give myself completely to this dream,

Trying to put together all the pieces,

Letting you make my life complete.

If tomorrow all my fears come reigning,

If this love is shattered and destroyed,

I just hope that God is already waiting,

Cause I know the pain will tear my soul.
