Flawed

Looking for a reason to let me go?

You will probably find more than one.

To your “what’s” sometimes I can respond,

But I always stand mute on the “Why’s”

 There is so much that you don’t know,

And I don’t blame your exasperation,

But to open the dam and let it flow,

Would just reinforce my condemnation.

How do you want me to explain,

Things I myself don’t understand?

Know that your company is not in vain

Life away from you I cannot withstand.

So write your reasons, make a list,

Let’s see how much I’ve disappointed you

If you want to leave me, I won’t insist

But please let me take off before you.
